View From Bluff Near Dusk

"They" say to paint what you know, so I did this view- plein-aire out
my kitchen window in Bakersfield using watercolor instead of fabrics
as I did in View From My Bluff. I always admired the sunsets from my
house of 13 years, and though the greens look brighter than in the
reality of this dry area, I like to think of it that way. Now that I've
moved away, THIS has become my reality.
