| Toby 11" X 14" Acrylic embellished giclee on canvas Original Commissioned & Sold. This very loved dog was a surprise gift by the owner's employer. I was commissioned to paint Toby unbeknownst to the dog's owner. Arrangements were clandestinely arranged for me, as a dog lover and photographer, to meet the dog with its owner. After about an hour of photographing, I had enough to create this composite, which I then embellished, adding and subtracting from the scene using acrylic paint. I put it on my website before it was given, and to my surprise Toby's owner saw it and loved it so much she wanted to purchase it from me. I had to tell her it wasn't for sale. But, of course, it all ended even happier because I was told she was thrill and shocked when she received it a week later for a Christmas gift. |
