This gate in Los Angeles always intrigued me. My husband's parents
lived in a condo on the premises, and I did many half hour jogs there,
admiring the efforts that went into making the place look luxurious,
before I decided to make another plein-aire watercolor. Freehand structural
perspective was a "bear" for me back then, as I was starting out.
