"They" say to paint what you know, so I did this view- plein-aire out my back
window in Bakersfield ("Bako" as it is somewhat affectionately known as to the
natives). I used watercolor, which IS a medium hard to control. With a 270 degree
view off the bluff, I had lots of choices to paint though. I could call it a "study", but
it doesn't make it a better picture. Pretty primitive, but it is what it is.
