I don't know whether she was in a pensive mood, in a depression of spirits, or
whether she simply didn't want this artist- her stepmother- trying for her likeness.
Regardless, most others see that this is her and her dog, Sugar, as well. Neither
she nor her mother liked it. While painting, I was with several other artists who
called it "Dramatic". They didn't know her. It remains in my possession, which is fine
with me, because I like her and it just fine.
