There is a charming shopping area on Truxtun Ave. in the downtown area of
Bakersfield. This was my choice to "paint" when I went with the local Plein Aire
Bakersfield Art Association group one Wednesday in 2006. A friend kept saying she
liked it, so I presented it to her when she had my husband and I to dinner one
evening.
